• Jithin George, LMHC

Working as a therapist for the past 12 years in a variety of settings has given me the privilege of accompanying people from many different backgrounds through some of the most difficult moments of their lives. It has been deeply rewarding to walk alongside individuals, couples, and families as they navigate challenges, discover healing, and grow in resilience. These experiences have continually deepened my appreciation for the strength, dignity, and hope present within every person.

I am passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families work through concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief, and relationship difficulties. My approach to counseling is compassionate, collaborative, and rooted in a genuine desire to help clients feel heard, supported, and empowered in their journey toward healing and growth.

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida and also a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois. My clinical approach includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychotherapy, and I’m also trained in EMDR therapy.

As a Catholic Christian, I approach counseling through an integrated lens that respects the emotional, relational, and spiritual dimensions of each person. For clients who desire it, faith and spirituality can be thoughtfully incorporated into the counseling process.

I am fluent in both English and Malayalam.

Originally from India, I immigrated to Chicago with my family in 1999. I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago and my Master’s degree in Clinical Professional Counseling from Roosevelt University in Chicago. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision at Divine Mercy University in Virginia.

My professional journey began in the Chicagoland area, where I worked as a counselor before relocating to South Florida in 2016. I later served as the National Coordinator for Jesus Youth and subsequently worked at Catholic Charities Diocese of Palm Beach as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and later as Program Director of Clinical Services.

Currently, I serve as the Coordinator of Counseling and Assistant Professor at St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary in Boynton Beach, Florida. I live in Lake Worth, Florida, with my wife and our three wonderful children.

As a counselor, I believe my role is to help clients become “Fully Alive.” Inspired by the words of Saint Irenaeus, “The glory of God is man fully alive,” I strive to help each person grow toward greater healing, freedom, and fullness of life.
