    Hello, my name is Cristina!

Life can get messy, and sometimes it feels like you’re carrying it all on your own. I’m here to walk alongside you, helping you untangle the challenges, make sense of your story, and discover practical ways to feel more like yourself again. Together, we create a safe, supportive space where you can be heard, build on your strengths, and grow at your own pace with warmth, honesty, and even a bit of humor along the way.

I am a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern in Florida. My therapeutic approach is grounded in Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and trauma-informed care, including Traumatic Incident Reduction (TIR). I combine these approaches to create sessions that are practical, supportive, and tailored to each client or family.

I have worked in the mental health field since 2012, starting as a case manager supporting individuals and families through complex challenges. I work with children, teens, adults, couples, and families. I have facilitated support groups for survivors of narcissistic abuse and am passionate about helping families navigate divorce and reunification, helping children and parents feel heard and rebuild trust and connection.

I am also a mom, which gives me a personal understanding of family dynamics, parenting challenges, and the joys and struggles of raising children, experience I bring to my work with families. Clients often describe my style as relatable, approachable, and down-to-earth. I like to keep sessions real, practical, and even a little fun while helping you build skills that last.

I was born and raised in Miami to Cuban and Puerto Rican parents. My cultural background, along with my Catholic Christian roots, gives me a deep appreciation for family, identity, and connection. I work comfortably with clients of all beliefs, and for those who wish to integrate spirituality into their healing, I am happy to include that perspective.

    Above all, I believe:

You are not defined by what happened to you. Healing is possible, connection is possible, and you don’t have to figure it out alone.
