Is your child pushing your buttons, acting out, or causing you to panic about dangerous behaviors? Do you feel as though your child has a difficult time processing their emotions and feelings?
Are you experiencing emotional problems like anxiety, sadness, or anger? Are you struggling with a transitional period in your life? Do you struggle to stay in the present moment due to racing thoughts?
If so, I welcome you into my safe space where I will help you develop new skills and empower you to bring about a positive change.
Hi! I’m Nina Kosubevsky. I went to Florida Atlantic University where I completed my Master’s in Social Work. Through my experience as well as through my schooling, I have learned many different therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution Focused Therapy(SFBT), all of which shape my approach to your treatment. Whether you’re struggling with relationships, experiencing life changes, or maybe just looking for a path forward out of a difficult time in your life, I will help you become the best version of yourself and help guide you to make a positive change.
You may feel as though things have gotten out of control with your child or teen.
Perhaps you have tried time and time again to get your child to communicate with you or work on their impulse control. I will help your child acquire these new skills in order to succeed, as well as help them understand and overcome their issues or stressors in life. I utilize art and play therapy techniques, as well as CBT to guide them towards overcoming their maladaptive behaviors.
No two people are the same which is why I strive to provide counseling catered to your individual needs with a thorough treatment plan and clear goals for achieving success. Through the use of various therapeutic modalities, my goal is to provide you with the skills needed to prosper and live a more fulfilling life.
I often share my insights into mental health in our blog, which you can read here. Below, are some articles I’ve written as well, if you’d like more insight into my approach to therapy:
