I am devoted to helping those who struggle with pornography use and sexual addition,so they can become a more integrated person emotionally and sexually.

I am focused on reaching out to men with these struggles to help them restore their sense of self as well as their relationships, whether that be with children, friends, family, neighbors, or colleagues.

My name is Joseph and I’m a licensed therapist who specializes in working with Christian/Catholic men and their families.
I help them integrate their emotions and desires, create better relationships, and live a more fulfilling life. I follow a humanistic approach, where I strive to guide clients to embrace their potential for self-determination. I accompany clients in such a way that they feel safe, known, and know they are loved no matter what, through a process of affirmation. I challenge clients to judge their experience, accept reality, follow their desires, and discover their hearts by developing their capacity toward autonomy, competence, and relatedness. I can help clients accept and acknowledge their failures, imperfections, and sufferings and at the same time find hope and possibility of healing from the past and looking forward to what is to come.

Some of my other specialties include anger management, teens and adolescents, healing from anxiety and depression, and those who struggle with intense psychological issues such as schizophrenia and bi-polar disorder. In addition, I offer solutions and tools to help with family and marital conflict.

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the State of Minnesota. Additionally, I have am a registered Licensed Telehealth Provider. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology from the University of St Thomas (Minnesota) and a Master of Arts from Adler Graduate School in Adlerian Counseling and Psychotherapy.
I live in a suburb of the Twin Cities in lovely Minnesota with my loving wife of 10 years and our 3 amazing boys, 3, 5 and 8, where I enjoy, along with my family, being inside and outside, camping, playing in the yard, playing board games, gardening, biking, and cooking.
