I am excited to be a part of a diverse and talented team at Cornerstone. If you feel like you’re ready to begin your journey towards better mental health, or if you simply just want to find out more about what therapy entails, don’t hesitate to reach out! I am here for you, and our Intake Coordinator, Cess, will be more than happy to help get you set up to welcoming our practice into your journey.
You might struggle with eating or bipolar disorders, or even anxiety and depression. Perhaps you and your spouse haven’t been connecting lately, and nothing you seem to do works to fix your relationship. If you’ve ever felt like this, you are not alone. Especially in these extraordinary times, we need connection, and my goal is to be that connection for you and your loved ones. Whether you’re dealing with sexuality issues, family strife, reproductive health issues and the stresses that accompany them, I am here to assist you along the way.
After spending almost three years serving women, couples, and families as a counsellor, I felt called to get my dual master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Marital, Couple, & Family Counseling.
Throughout my time learning and completing my degree, I have been blessed to serve diverse populations with the Rejoice Counseling Apostolate team out of Texas, and a community counseling center at Barry University. I have also taught fertility education and natural family planning classes through FEMMHealth.org over the past three years.
These experiences have shaped the way I approach your care at Cornerstone. As your counsellor, I will lead with compassion, empathy, and a dedication to helping individuals and couples find peace in the ups and downs you may experience. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, biopolar, or even a crisis of faith, I assure you that you can find a safe place to open up and share your burdens.
As with anyone, finding the right therapist is about developing a connection and knowing it’s a good fit for you. When I’m not seeing clients, I love to go salsa dancing, walk the Miami Beach boardwalk, and travel. I’m originally from Chicago, so you might pick up on my Midwestern accent, but I have fully embraced becoming a Florida resident. I feel it’s truly where I am meant to be, live, and work.
I have dedicated my life to helping others and am happy to be a guide with you on your journey. Contact me today calling 561-472-0397 or scheduling an intake and take the first step towards building a better tomorrow.
